Privacy Policy

Information stored on your device

Slop Golf uses local app storage to remember information needed for the experience. This information is not sent to a Slop Golf or Yuhar.studio server.

• Up to five recent course selections and the last selected tee time
• Saved upcoming rounds, including course name, locality and course coordinates, tee time, expected duration, forecast assessment, refresh dates, and weather-watch state
• Local notification preferences and the highest weather state already alerted for a saved round
• App Store product and entitlement state obtained through StoreKit

Information we receive

Slop Golf does not send your location, searches, rounds, or forecasts to Yuhar.studio. We receive information only if you contact support or otherwise choose to send it to us. A support email can include your email address, the name shown by your email service, and anything you voluntarily include. We use that information to respond to and manage your request.

Location and course discovery

When you open course discovery, Slop Golf asks for While In Use location permission. It requests one location at kilometer-level desired accuracy to find and rank nearby courses. It does not request Always access, continuously track you, use background location, or create a location history.

If you allow location, the coordinate is used in memory and provided to Apple MapKit as a regional hint for nearby and typed course searches. Search text is also sent to MapKit. Yuhar.studio cannot access these requests and does not store the coordinate. You can deny location and still search globally by course name or city.

Slop Golf sends the selected golf course’s coordinates—not your ongoing device location—to Apple WeatherKit to request a forecast for the round. The app may repeat this WeatherKit request during iOS background app refresh for a saved upcoming round. Course coordinates and tee times remain stored locally so those updates can work.

Apple services and purchases

Slop Golf uses Apple MapKit for golf-course search, Apple WeatherKit for course-specific forecasts, StoreKit for subscriptions, and iOS system services for location permission, background refresh, notifications, and sharing. Apple processes the information needed to provide those services under Apple’s own privacy terms and platform safeguards.

Purchases, introductory-offer eligibility, billing, renewal, cancellation, and restoration are handled by Apple through the App Store. Yuhar.studio does not receive your complete payment-card details, and Slop Golf does not send transaction identifiers or receipts to a Yuhar.studio server.

Weather watches and notifications

If you enable a weather watch for a saved round, Slop Golf stores that choice locally. The app can refresh the course forecast during iOS background app refresh and schedule a same-day reminder or a worsening-weather alert through iOS. These are local notifications. Slop Golf does not register for remote push notifications, and Yuhar.studio does not receive a push token.

Notification text can include the course name and forecast verdict and may be visible on your lock screen according to your iOS notification-preview settings.

Sharing a result

When you choose Share, Slop Golf renders the result image on your device and opens the standard iOS share sheet. You choose the person, app, or service that receives it. Yuhar.studio does not automatically receive the image or share destination; the destination’s privacy practices apply after you choose it.

Analytics, advertising, and tracking

Slop Golf contains no third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDK, advertising SDK, or tracking technology. We do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites, and we do not sell your personal information.

Data retention and deletion

Recent course and tee-time preferences remain in local app storage until they are replaced or the app is removed. Saved rounds remain until you remove them or remove the app; a round you remove also has its scheduled local alerts removed. Slop Golf does not keep a server copy.

Because Yuhar.studio does not possess your local records or location, there is no remote copy for us to delete. Normal device backups managed by you or Apple may retain an earlier copy according to the backup service’s settings and retention practices.

We retain support correspondence only as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain support records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or satisfy legal obligations.

Your choices and controls

• Deny or revoke location access in iOS Settings and search by course name or city instead.
• Turn notifications off for a saved round or in iOS Settings.
• Remove an upcoming round from its detail screen to delete that local record and its alerts.
• Manage or cancel a subscription in Slop Golf’s subscription screen or your Apple Account settings.
• Remove Slop Golf to delete its active local app storage, subject to any device backups you control.

Children’s privacy

Slop Golf is a general-audience app and is not directed to children. Yuhar.studio does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the limited information we handle. No method of storage or communication is completely secure, so please avoid including sensitive information in support messages unless it is necessary for us to help you.

Changes to this policy

If the app’s features or data practices change, we will update this policy at this same URL and revise the effective date above.
